Hello ! I just wanted to people who Lives in switzerland that the Pirates Sets will be released in May...

I really don't understand why, as all the other countries around already have the entire pirate line released... so I bought mine in France.. I think it's a strange strategy as everyone who wants these sets just have to go to a country really close ( from most of the Switzerland, to go to another country just take a couple of hours max.. ) , so why did they decided to release these sets later in Switzerland ? I don't really understand their "selling strategy" ... someone have an idea ?

the same goes for the "Lego Club Magasine" I receive it in my mailbox ... in German! And I didn't even asked for it .. (so I just throw it away as, anyway, I don't understand German.. )

I think that will stay a mistery... just like the different prizes in each country. Although on BrothersBricks an answer has been given how it comes that the prices are different. What correctly the explanation was of TLC I really don't know anymore. The only thing I still know is that I found this explanation weak.

Look on the bright side; sometimes in Switzerland you can find sets that aren't available in in close countries (Italy). And some will never be!

Of course, if you live close to the border you can just go abroad and buy.

But if you really need the new pirate sets.

You can look for them in Germany, because they are since this month avaible.

And I think Germany isn't so far away from 'Switzerland'...

:pir-cry_happy:
