Sebeus I Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 (edited) Armed with 20 guns + its triple guns it sails against the wind, making the sea a more dangerous place than it already was. Flying Dutchman I actually wanted to make it one midsection longer so I could get a better bow but I ran low on parts... Flying Dutchman Edited April 1, 2009 by Sebeus Iniwum Quote
Sir Wellington Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Great ship, you should extend the hull a bit, but everything else looks amazing! Quote
Spyder Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Wow! That is a great MOC. The idea of seaweed for tattered sails is genius. Quote
Bricks Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 This is awesome! You've made a great wild look with all the plants and choppers. So thanks for sharing this beautiful creation Regards 'Bricks' Quote
jifel Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I dont normally visit this forum, but that is amazing. High marks for the cannons and especially the three cannon weapons at the front. Very impressive, and the sails are great. jifel Quote
Infomaniac Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 That's beautiful I would put some more seaweed on the midsection though Take some more pictures I want to see more of this awesome moc Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 I have to agree with all the above: this is awesome. It's very accurate to the movie if I look at the shapes and details. Great job on that. I really like the stern, amazingly detailed and it looks secure, which is a big + since it's hard to design a nice stern. The 'seaweed sails' are nicely done as well, although it there may be more seaweed in my opinion. The broadsides look quite clean with a pale grey coloursheme, there are some plants on it but I suggest to use some dark grey or sand green in it as well. Just to give it a rotten look, like the Dutchman in the movie. In short: Great job and I hope to see more work from you in the future! Quote
Derfel Cadarn Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Thats one seriously cool ship. I like the tripple guns and its nice that u have incorperated the organ. Great work! Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted April 2, 2009 Eurobricks Emperor Posted April 2, 2009 That's a fine and spooky looking ship you've made! It looks like is has sunk and rested in the dark depths of the ocean for years until it was brought back by the evil spirits running the ship. I like everything about it, the bow could be made a bit longer if you ever give the ship a revision. Quote
Asuka Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 A beautiful MOC, very impressive and detailed, with elegant lines and some pretty spooky charm indeed. I especially like the great stern and bow section with the neat triple cannons. A simply splendid work! Quote
Zorro Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 This is one spooky looking ship you've got there. Bonaparte's description matches it and I have no more to say then . Quote
Darth Legolas Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Great job! I love the wooden base, but the rocky, almost mountain like rest of the ship! The entire thing is huge! Does it have interior? Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Does it have interior? Check the link he provided in the first post, it's awesome. Especially the organ is nice. Quote
