Eilif Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Just for those who see the first page, select the baby dan article and scroll down for the english translation. Interesting, a company using the LEGO logo to sell baby bedding and plush toys. On the one hand, I'm inclined to suggest that this may be exactly the kind of thing that took LEGO away from it's core mission and nearly sunk the company a few years back. On the other hand, it seems that if Baby Dan is taking all the risk, and making a quality product, then this may be a great way for TLG to build-on, and increase brand recognition among parents even before their child reaches "duplo" age. In the end, I think this could be a good thing as long as TLG doesn't do too much of it, and erode their pubic preceptions of the integrity of the LEGO brand Quote

Front Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 So I go to a Dutch site, to read in English, that a small Danish company, has made an agreement with a large Danish company, to use their name and Logo on their baby product :-) Reading carefully we can see that they will do some sort of seat with Lego-knobs-fabric for adults too. Legoking Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 It is kind of hard to read another language that is not in English. But the Baby Dan agreement looks pretty good. Quote
k_peek_2000 Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 In this econamic depression, where many small shops and massive corperations are going out of buisness. It's really good to see LEGO growing and expanding and continuing their profit and ultimate goal of taking over the world. My last visit to Downtown Disney, shops were closed, the district was really empty, The Lego Store was packed! I love it :p Quote
