And yes I'll post again when it's a MOC not aWIP! thats nice. i like the tower too. it could use more trans yellow and white White? why white? Quote
Clone OPatra Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 I think he who said white was just confused and thought this hanger belonged to the good guys. Maybe. Nice design so far, but could you deeplink at least the overall shot? That always makes posts seem more interesting, and it makes clicking the link to more pics more exciting. Good job! Quote
Clone OPatra Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Okee Dokee! Huh? I think you did not understand, I said deeplinking. That means actually having a picture in your first post. I'm really not trying to be annoying (if that's how I come off), I just think it is always nice to actually have a picture in the first post of a moc thread. If you don't know how to deeplink, here's the tutorial: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18451 Again, nice moc! Quote

TenorPenny Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 The tower and colour scheme work really well. Good work! Quote

user Posted April 4, 2009 Author Posted April 4, 2009 Oh! I just thought of something. Do you guys think that the space truck will fit? If not how many studs long do you think the truck will be? Quote
Oky Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Nice MOC! I'm sure your SPIII baddies will feel right at home! However, for some reason it doesn't feel like a SPIII MOC to me, more like a M-Tron MOC. But maybe that's just me. And why is it called "The hanger"? Are the speeders etc. supposed to hang from that tower or something? I can't... Why not? Oh! I just thought of something. Do you guys think that the space truck will fit? If not how many studs long do you think the truck will be? I don't think so. It's hard to tell how long and wide it is (with the Technic wings and all) but I'm guessing it'll be at least 24 studs wide (because the yellow container in the back is 12 studs wide and the whole truck seems to be about twice as wide as the container) and 32 studs long (container (18 studs) + cockpit (10 studs) + a few more studs for all those pointy things at the front and back). It might just fit, but then you wouldn't be able to fit anything else in there. Quote

Second of all my lousy computer wont let me if I do I'll have to on somebody elses computer. Thanks for the size calcilations I'll probably find someway to make the wings fold to the side like on most of the M-tron... Oh my gosh! I am copying M-tron! thank you very much for the kind words! ~Computerbug Edited April 5, 2009 by computerbug Quote
Oky Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 First off a hanger is a large area where you keep planes or other large vehicles. Like this. No, that is a hangar. This is a hanger. Big difference. Second of all my lousy computer wont let me if I do I'll have to on somebody elses computer. OK, well, I still don't understand why it's not a problem for you to copy & paste URLs of websites, but not those of pictures, but whatever. Thanks for the size calculations I'll probably find someway to make the wings fold to the side like on most of the M-tron... Oh my gosh! I am copying M-tron! Told ya! Quote

OK, well, I still don't understand why it's not a problem for you to copy & paste URLs of websites, but not those of pictures, but whatever. Told ya! OH! how embaressing. I'll change that almost emediately! And my computer won't let me have any attachments at all in my posts I have tried many times with pics varying in size but my computer always says "This file is too big!" It is very annoying. But I will try on a different computer. I have one more qestion, Do you think an Octan sticker on the tower would be a good idea? Because incase you havent noticed the twins have Octan logos on their uniforms and they own an evil gas station in squidmans pit-stop. Quote
Oky Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 (edited) There you go! I knew you could do it! But the image is really big! Could you please resize it to the 800 x 600 EB standard? I have one more question, Do you think an Octan sticker on the tower would be a good idea? Because incase you havent noticed the twins have Octan logos on their uniforms and they own an evil gas station in squidmans pit-stop. Lol! No, I haven't noticed that before. Well, if this is the twins' base, I'd say go for it, but if it's meant for all the baddies, maybe not. Instead, you could just put some Octan oil drums (like these) in one of the corners. Another cool idea would be to put some stolen space police equipment in there too, like a laser cannon like the one in the truck! This base/hangar is lacking in the defense department anyway. I love the canister idea but I alredy have stolen space police equipment in there. In the large yellow container there is a SP version of the gun speeder . I'll add more lazers if you think it will make it look better but where should I put them? Quote
user Posted May 28, 2009 Author Posted May 28, 2009 Hello everybody I just wanted to let anybody who care know that I will be posting a new topic tomorrow called "SP3 Biker gang garage WIP" I will tell you that I have changed this thing drastically. First of all it's an indoor hangar second of all it will hold only the Wrecker, Space bike, and Slizer's stealth strikecraft there are repair bays for the two vehicles I have wich are the wreck and space bike there is no longer a tower instead there is simply a lookout room above the sliding blast door. there are two turrets one on each side of the lookout room. Thanks for all the comments! ~Computerbug Quote
DJ Force Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 So, are you taking this thing here completely apart and rebuild it? Or will you keep it for the bigger ships? Quote

TenorPenny Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 It works really well, and will only be complimented by the addition of the evil vehicles and figures. Quality work! Quote
