Here I am with another MOC. It's a small roadblock in a post-apocalyptic world. Military tries to repair an old radio tower after an attack from the rebels. I started this MOC with the intention of creating a big (I used 6 16x32 baseplates) battle scene. I wanted to build a blown up oil tanker and a deserted diner on the side. But the cost was big too so I turned it into a smaller vignette. I'll try the original idea some other time, when I have the cash. There are more images here:

Nice SNOT road! :classic:

Did you use those 1 x 1 bricks with studs on all sides to make the "road blocks"?

I believe that he did, no other piece that I am aware of would do the job.

A very nice creation cagri!

I like the atmosphere of the whole scene. The hedgehogs are nice, though the idea of an exposed computer console isn't my idea of safe  The little curved barricade is a nice addition. The cannon is really well designed.

Is it me or is your SNOT road bending the baseplate?

Once again you have made a really nice Post Apoc creation, well done!

Hi ISC, thank you for the kind words. The SNOT road doesn't bend the baseplate, it fits perfectly. But there is a gap between the base and the road. I could have replaced the tiles beneath the road with plates and it would stand fine. But it looked ugly that way, so I left it this way. Here's the recipé for the road:

1 darkbley plate + 1 white plate + 2 darkbley plates + 5 darkbley bricks + 2 darkbley/yellow plates + 5 darkbley bricks + 2 darkbley plates + 1 white plate + 1 darkbley plate

And you fix them with these on two sides:

It turns into a 16 stud wide road (plus one stud fixing bricks on each side, 18 studs total)

Very nice job on this large vignette Gagri! Love the really smooth look of the road contrasting to the left side. Those roadblocks are rather inventively done too. Your road is very neat too, I did the same technique on a larger scale with my Iceberg Lounge. I found it a bit hard to set up since you have to find the right length to fit, but it works really well for this road!

Tan is always a good colour for post-apoc, so good usage here, I love the dish and the fort, that gun especially. That gun is really cleverly built! The tan wall also works great.

All in all a very sweet moc! I'd love to see more form you!

Batbrick Away!
