legoindy01 Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Who thinks that lago could maka an Ultimate collectors Series line. They could make the tank, the flying wing, the zeppelin, maybe even the u-boat. I think that these are over the horizon, what do you think? Quote
legoindy01 Posted March 22, 2009 Author Posted March 22, 2009 A zeppelin would be a win in my book! I agree Quote
The Who Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 How about a bust of harrison ford? It's possible, though I would much rather have a bust of MulletCut Mola Ram. And I would even more rather have a Zeppelin, whether or not that was proper grammar. Quote
Bricks Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 A UCS-series would be a very nice addition to the LEGO Indiana Jones universe! TLC could make a 30cm tall figure, which presents a star role of the movies. Besides some vehicles would be very nice, the german tank or the big zeppelin 'Bricks' Quote
WookieeWarrior Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Personally, I think life size versions of the MacGuffins might be more interesting. We know that LEGO, or at least some LEGO stores, made a life size crystal skull, which looked pretty cool, IMO. Quote

The Arch could be really nice, but I have my doubt as for the appeal of a life size Carpenter's Cup :p Quote
jifel Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 It was in IJ, in the third movie. And what do you mean it isnt IJ? jifel Quote
The Who Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 but the zepplin isnt really indiana jones. I don't know what you are talking about, but the Zeppelin, almost like the Hindenburg, was in The Last Crusade. When it starts to turn around, Indy and the Prof. steal the white/red biplane and fly off, when the Prof. shoots the tail of the plane and...........you get my point, right? Quote
Quigley Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Would a giant,to-scale version count? I can see a giant Pankot Palace... Quote
legoindy01 Posted April 4, 2009 Author Posted April 4, 2009 Would a giant,to-scale version count? I can see a giant Pankot Palace... they'll probably make this into a regular set. Almost like a harry potter castle. A giant to scale pankot palace would be huge and highly priced if the made it would be like to death star, but not grey and modern. Quote
WookieeWarrior Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I could imagine them doing one the size of the Akator temple, but I just don't think there's enough of a hardcore fanbase for a demand fof a set over $100. Quote
legoindy01 Posted April 5, 2009 Author Posted April 5, 2009 (edited) I could imagine them doing one the size of the Akator temple, but I just don't think there's enough of a hardcore fanbase for a demand fof a set over $100. exactly. any indy set (that isn't a regular play set) that is over $100 won't sell very well. It would really take a lot for lego to do anything other than vehicles in an UCS line. However a playset of pankot palace making it like a harry potter castle ot temple of akator could sell nicely I think. Same goes for bruinwald castle. But I guess we'll have to see how the temple of doom sells over the summer. Edited April 5, 2009 by legoindy01 Quote
