Talon Karrde Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 The T-34 was an incredibly successful fighter during it's service in the Auroran Space Navy due to its immense practicality, the combination of heavy armour, powerful engines and advanced maneuverability capabilities made it far superior to all it's competitors, however, the tendency for the nuclear reactor to overload and fry the pilot made it impossible for the continued service of this fighter and it was succeeded by more expendable droid piloted fighters. zero1312 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 A nice little fighter. I really can see swarms of the flying through space. Quote
Asuka Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 A distinct looking bug-like design with interesting angles and a fine use of that bubble windshield. Although that spacefighter looks cool and creative I wonder a little how that cannon design might work out in combat... Quote
Spyder Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 I agree with Asuka. I wonder if the cannons raise up, or if he has to shoot below him. Other than that, it is a great little fighter. Quote
Batbrick Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Simple and brilliant design. I suck at spaceships, so everytime I see something like tihs I have a lot of respect for the maker. Looks a lot like Faye's ship off Cowboy Bebop. Also: however, the tendency for the nuclear reactor to overload and fry the pilot made it impossible for the continued service of this fighter ROFL! Batbrick Away! Quote
Talon Karrde Posted March 17, 2009 Author Posted March 17, 2009 Cheers peeps, and about the guns, picture them horizontal, it was really that I had to photo it like that (the fighter in ground mode, resting on the guns but in the air I picture it differently, I mean when I'm swooshing it ) so I don't know... Also, they do pivot as they are connected with one of these so they do rotate a bit, I'm usually not that good at building fighters either so I was really pleased with this, thanks again for the C&C.
