hi

have lego got the license to make spider man stuff because i cant wait

if they do it would be sweet to see venom, sandman & hobgoblin are all in spidey 3

And if you'd read the title of this thread, you would have seen that he's talking about Spider-man 3 ;)

I think they probably will make them, since they've made the other films. It's not a certainty though, as it appears they have stopped making Harry Potter LEGO.

NO more Spidey licence !!

What do you mean? aren't they gonna make spidey 3?

I really doubt it since they don't owe the licence anymore !!!!

They could possibly go for Spidey 3.

As its not Marvel Vs. DC.

The only problem could be Sony against Warner.

Sony is the compnay that makes the Spider-man films and Warner Brothers is the company that makes Batman.

I don't see why it should be a problem though, Matt, Harry Potter and Spider-man sets were being made at the same time.

Xwingyoda, Mega Bloks have got a license with Marvel (which they might not have by 2007 anyway, which is when Spider-man 3 comes out). So LEGO should still be able to have a licence with Sony to make Spider-man 3 sets.

I know.

It does make it more likely.

Movie companies aren't as protective over who makes their licenses, than Marvel and DC would be.

As I said some time ago, I hope to see more and more super heroes, so, well, another villans' minifigs in the spiderman series will be welcome. And what's that of saying that there are no more Harry Potter sets???? Come on, in the press release, Warner said they will continue the licence with lego on hp!!!! Cross your fingers to see more goblet sets, or maybe to have a ministry of magic for movie 5 or the inferi minifigs for movie 6!!!!! There's still a lot to come :P

It mentioned the Harry Potter licence, but it never said it would continue it. It seems to me like they're replacing it with Batman, although nothing has been confimred about this.

We do have 7 films in the story.

I'd be strange to not sign up for all of them, when there's always been a specific number of films.

Yo, people! I AM SO WORRIED NOW about Spiderman 3 sets or, in fact, the absence of any sets at all!

LOOK, when you click here:

http://www.lego.com/eng/spiderman/redirect.asp

You will see this message:

The LEGO Spider-man web site is no longer available as LEGO has finished production of Spider-man products.

And then you'll be redirected to the homepage. OH MY GOD, NO! Spiderman has been a great source of amazing city landscapes and settings to me: I got the bridge with the great taxi, then the bank... :'-(
