AFOL SF Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Hello everyone... just want to share with those of you who're waiting for the Twilight #7680 Star Wars set to go on sale... this is the day! It's now 50% off at $49.99 if you buy it at S@H for those who're in the US. Don't know about other countries but worth checking. S/H is a bit steep at around $10. In case you are close to a Lego store, it's worth checking, too.
AFOL SF Posted March 6, 2009 Author Posted March 6, 2009 Great!... It looks like the sale is happening all over...
Spyder Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I am going to purchase it. Thanks for the tip on the sale.
I Scream Clone Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Also 50% off in Australia, though it doesn't really have a lot of nice parts or much going for it in my opinion.
Erdbeereis Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Also 50% off in Australia, though it doesn't really have a lot of nice parts or much going for it in my opinion. I agree. As tempting as the price is, it's far too technic-y for me to use as a parts pack, and the minifigs are nothing special. Must not have been too popular, Star Wars sets don't seem to go half-price very often...
Bobskink Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I agree. As tempting as the price is, it's far too technic-y for me to use as a parts pack, and the minifigs are nothing special. Must not have been too popular, Star Wars sets don't seem to go half-price very often... Same here, it's still not interesting enough, it's just an ugly set and it must be selling very bad.
The Green Brick Giant Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Same here, it's still not interesting enough, it's just an ugly set and it must be selling very bad. I agree, it also looks nothing like it's supposed to.
Athos Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I'm really on the fence about buying it. If they'd had it at the Lego store I was at last week, I might have bought it. Now I'm just not sure I could use it... Though a nice new large set is always a nice way to spend a winter weekend... Steve
