There are too many entries with huge swords and shields. Doesn't make much sense for the guy who said "A fighter's greatest weapon is his mind. The mind is a more powerful weapon than any sword, and a more powerful defense than any shield."

This image shows the two ways of connecting the "gauntlet" pieces. The one on the right is legal for the contest, and the one on the left is sturdier. Go figure. Yay custom feet. Yay removable counter.

Yay for not having frakking huge swords.

The leg armor is fastened securely because there's a spare rubber band (a LEGO one) stuffed into one of the holes on each leg. The friction keeps the armor on.

The body is the same height as a basic Piraka build, only not double wide.

Also, I totally those feet as arms.

lol total copypasta from BZP

Looks great, I really like how he doesn't look physically imposing, but still a threat. By the way, why would one of those gauntlet techniques be illegal for the contest?

EDIT - I like that you included all the little Glatorian fiddly bits [hands, right head, Thornax]

The rules are stricter than BBC Contests, so there's no cut parts allowed, and the little connector is a cut piece of tubing.

I like the MOC alot, but it uses Metus's helmet, which half of the other entries do as well.

As for the mind over strength idea, I agree, but not to the extreme that you beat all the other Glatorian in fights with a pickaxe. :sceptic:

Seems like a nice little entry to me. I agree with you on the quote thing and his weapons, though I have no idea who this guy is

That is pretty impressive! I like how it's completely custom, using only the hands as their designated function. Everything else is originally put together! That earns sum coookies! :D
