Algernon Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I originally posted this in the Steam Empire topic but I edited it out to make a separate topic, since I'd like some more detailed feedback on my work. This is a simple steam transport built for the Steam Empire theme. It's a fast and reliable one-person transport built for cargo hauling, but the space in the back of the vehicle was modified to account for a much more powerful engine. This modification allows for long-distance flight. It has no weaponry to speak of, but groups of rebel technicians will sometimes mount weaponry on the craft for use in combat. The transport: 3/4 view, and a pilot: Front: Side: Back: Some detail shots: Gallery when public Some random minifigs: Sorry about the blur. There we have it. This is the first MOC I've completed in some time. It took me several months of on and off building, but I like it enough now to call it complete. What do you think? Quote
Dadster Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Very cool! I can't wait to see more of the "steampunk style" at this years BrickFair. (in the DC area...) Quote
Asuka Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 A very interesting craft that is indeed, pretty sleek and neatly detailed with some very fine details like the use of that barrel in the middle section and especially the creative and well working utilization of that stretcher holder part for the cockpit. The MF characters look very fine too. Quote

Batbrick Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 That is such an awesome Steampunk design. Espeically the engine, so awesome. I wish I could build steampunk like this. Batbrick Away! Quote
TenorPenny Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I particularly like the chains-to-cartwheel design, as well as the use of barrels for cylinders. Quote
