JINZONINGEN73 Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 The hordika were just pure suck. Bad weapons, bodies, everything except MAYBE some of the heads. Possibly the MOST kiddie looking toa yet. They might as well have been designed by whoever designs the "under 5" toys for McDonald's Happy Meals. The Visorak added some neat things however. The giant head piece, while being, well, giant... adds a nice part for mocs. Noone's really utilized it yet, but I see ALOT of promise in it (don't have any yet). Also nice is the return of old legs in new colors (unfortunately some of them have those crappy bohrok legs). The spinner feature unfortunately detracts from the whole thing, taking up way too much space, but it's still able to be overcome when moc'ing. The battle sets add some nice things, alot actually. Giant versions of masks, 1-piece glow in the dark creatures, good parts in different colors... but the price of each of these sets is astoundingly painful. Roodaka was "ok", but not harboring any great amount of parts. Sidorak was a conglomeration of the AWFUL rahkshi legs and the AWFUL metruan chest armor piece. Not much to see. Keetongu was pretty good though... old parts in new colors as well as adding yellow (well, a new kind of yellow) into the parts bins of Bionicle line purists... yellow being something severely missing in Bionicle since day ONE. The matoran for this year, the Rahaga, were pretty decent sets. Even though they too had the beyond-annoying kiddy spinner toy, they also had some decent parts, such as orange beams, a source of spare Rahkshi heads and the all-important new type leg joints the nasty 2004 metruan had. As for the "mask pack" of this year... ugh... just a couple spinners... crap you'd expect from a dollar store. WORTHLESS to moc'ing, as there are no permanent connection points on them! Visorak win.
