Jingo Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Please note that the ghost train is not on clearance. Yeah, it was a late night impulse buy off Amazon, not from The Warehouse sales.
epic_red Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Is anyone keen for a UCS Y-wing? There's one on trademe at the moment http://www.trademe.co.nz/toys-models/lego-building-toys/lego/star-wars/auction-556546877.htm
Legoman Posted January 31, 2013 Author Posted January 31, 2013 Heh, that Y-wing isn't UCS, just a rip-off :P
Fatteh Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Heh, that Y-wing isn't UCS, just a rip-off :P Ha. I'd rather pay $100 for that version than the new one though. Still have a new Bag End set if anyone wants to trade.
CommanderFox Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Still have a new Bag End set if anyone wants to trade. How much would you be wanting for it? Its set 79003 right? CF
harmacy Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Got an email from Toyworld, linking me to this page - COMPETITION!! Only problem for me though is that i don't have Sky! Just curious if anyone on here does have Sky? As I would love to enter but cannot, due to the lack of Sky and also going on holiday where internet does not exist... Still if someone does have sky with the Disney channel and has time to watch, post some of the codes on here and then hopefully someone on here has a shot of getting that trolley grab. Good luck! CF Just having a look at the winners - there are a lot of repeat names in there! Makes me wish I got someone to enter for me - would have had a real chance! Congrats to the winners though - especially the trolley grab winner! UCS ahoy! http://www.disney.com.au/DisneyChannel/great-summer-toy-grab/

UCS ahoy! http://www.disney.co...ummer-toy-grab/ 'Repeat winners'.....understatement. Thats a pretty rubbish draw of winners, some people won at least 8-10 times! Congrats if its anyone here who got the trolley grab. Would have loved that, it would've sorted lego buying for the next year. CF
harmacy Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Ha - so true! I wonder how well this was advertised??? Oh well - next time aye? Just been looking at Lego.com, and saw the price for the Palace Cinema at $269. Im thinking thats going to be my 2013 'May the 4th' free shipping purchase!

Yeah for sure, perhaps they will find not every toy lover has sky.. I've been thinking about the may the 4th sale, wondering is it really worth it in the end buying sets then and getting the free shipping? Wouldn't you save more getting cheaper BL prices? Or would it all depend on quantity of sets your getting/how large they are. CF
Devorath Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 (edited) $45 for the Lloyd spinner. Wow. http://www.trademe.c...n-558173857.htm EDIT: And welcome back to crazy Trade-Me ripoffs: http://www.trademe.c...8.htm Talking of trademe this has to be the most unlucky guy to get a bill after receiving one of these - read the description. Hope it wasn't anyone on here? Has anyone spotted anymore deals around? Is Warehouse still doing their erratic sales on lego? CF Edited February 3, 2013 by CommanderFox
oddjob Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 I imagine there must be some sort of Waitangi sale this week.

Hope it wasn't anyone on here? Has anyone spotted anymore deals around? Is Warehouse still doing their erratic sales on lego? CF I really do feel for this guy too! Problem is, that B wing is a stupid NZ price on lego.com. I'll be getting mine off BL for sure.
darthtatum Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Hi this is my first post..... The Warehouse is having a "Buy one, get one half price" sale at the moment (on all lego products) Can get some very good deals!!!
CommanderFox Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Hi this is my first post..... The Warehouse is having a "Buy one, get one half price" sale at the moment (on all lego products) Can get some very good deals!!! Welcome to EuroBricks darthtatum! Head on over and introduce your self here by starting a new topic. Thanks for the heads up! Will have a look online now. Anyone interested in spending a bit on some of the old goodies - this guy has some, and here's a new SSD. Any word on other sales? Im waiting on a 2 figure BL order to come, very excited! CF
shawn_low Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 What!? Cheap Lego in NZ...wish I had an excuse to visit. Aussie prices are just too dear at the moment...

Fatteh Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 For the technic heads, Sariel's Unofficial LEGO Technic Builder’s Guide is just $31 at the US Book Depository at the moment with free international shipping. Also, Farmers had the new ninjago sets at 25% off if you can find them, and apparently the Lego NZ distributor still has a bunch of the second 2012 ninjago wave which may appear once the 2013 stuff has cleared out.
Jingo Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 The Warehouse is showing the Gungan Sub 9499 on their website at the moment for $49.97. It's saying they have online stock, I rang around a few of my local stores but none had it in store.
oddjob Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 25% off at Toyco at the moment. Not all sets are on special though. Free shipping for orders over $100.
RileyC Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Guys be sure to check The Warehouse regularly. My local Warehouse had Jabba's Palace (RRP $249.99) reduced to clear for $119.99! That's over half price! So just be aware of those good deals lazy stores dont pick up on
Fatteh Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 50% off clearance at the WH today. Will be hit and miss depending what old stock is at your local, but I found the Hoth game for $22.50 and the Hobbit game for $15. Other lego games are heavily discounted too. Monster Fighter 9466 Crazy Scientist was down to $25 odd, but the Zombies or Ghost Train sets were full price. All the SW I could find was still full price.
oddjob Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 There was nothing at my local WH (Wellington city); no was there any indication of a sale in the first instance.
Fatteh Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 There was nothing at my local WH (Wellington city); no was there any indication of a sale in the first instance. The 50% off clearance deals are never advertised. You can find them by watching when clearance items are halved in price on their website, or by scanning items in store: the display will read something like "further 50% off". Local stores can't possibly keep up with all the price changes that are set nationally. The only way to be sure how much a set costs is from the website, or by scanning it.
oddjob Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 You'd expect at least a yellow sticker on the clearance items though. I'm not going to go in store and scan items until I find one on clearance.
