How did you get the legs to go outwards? Rip of the legs from the hips, then rotate 90 degrees . The lightning uses those "lightning" pieces which came in that skeleton tower and in the castle advent calendar (maybe more, but these I know of), the rest, how they are secured, is a bit ard to distinguish.
