SirNadroj Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I'd like to check the body for any more valuables.. perhaps he's got some sort of wallet on him.
Hinckley Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I'd like to check the body for any more valuables.. perhaps he's got some sort of wallet on him. Pfft. Not making enough fixing computers, huh?
SirNadroj Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Pfft. Not making enough fixing computers, huh? You are correct.
Scouty Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I think we should move on after playing with inspecting the dead body.
Corvus Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Step aside everyone! Let me take a closer look at his wound and examine it for awhile... Judging from the seriousness of the wound, it was made by a very sharp object, striking right below his heart slightly... which was one of our vital parts in our body. It seemed that the assailant was aiming to give him one strike with a finish. A very brutal way of finishing and I strongly feel that he died of bleeding from this wound... But where are all of his blood... Someone must have wiped it away... OR this could not be the place where the murder has taken place... Everyone, look at his awful expression of fear.... I deduct that he might have been ambushed from behind... It was real quick and sudden... Someone whom Lord Chester trusts... and unexpectedly, he was murdered without hesistation from the back. It's very unfortunate.... Or, y'know, he could have had one too many, and tripped on one of those swords that are lying all over the place. I'd like to check for drag marks on the floor.
Dragonator Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 John removes Lord Chester's shoes, but does not find anything in them (except his feet, of course). Max checks to see if Lord Chester is wearing a wig. He is not; he still has his own hair, although it looks a little thin. I would like to draw on Lord Chester's face. Maybe some cat whiskers, a mustache and the word "Dork." I would appreciate it if you didn't defile the corpse. Dermot looks over the body for more valuables. There are no other items of interest on the body, although the brass buckle looks expensive... Dr. Grimsworth checks the floor for drag marks. The floor is made of old stone blocks, and marks do not show up very well. However, you do note that Lord Chester's polished black shoes are rather scuffed.
Hinckley Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I would appreciate it if you didn't defile the corpse. Ha ha! You have a dead boyfriend! Did you love him? kissy kissy Draggy-waggy!
Dragonator Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 Ha ha! You have a dead boyfriend! Did you love him? kissy kissy Draggy-waggy! Could somebody please remind me why I invited this guy?...
Sandy Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Okay gentlemen, enough with you playing pathologists! Let's head to the undoubtedly spooky attic.
Shadows Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Could somebody please remind me why I invited this guy?... Same reason you invited me, you don't get enough punishment in your life. And yes, attic, please!
Dragonator Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 Moving right along... The detectives, having examined the body, leave it to go see what exciting things there are to find in the attic. Mounting the stairs beyond the black gates, the group climbs up into the top of the house. At the top of the stairs, the detectives are greeted by an interesting assortment of things. The attic is dimly lit by light coming through small gaps in the roof slates. Obviously the sun must be rising; you have been in the house almost all night. In the attic you find a wonderful collection of boxes and barrels, containing all sorts of things, as well as other items of interest. At the far end of the low-ceilinged room, there is another wooden door with a grill in it. This must continue into the rest of the attic (the room you are in stretches about a quarter of the length of the house). Well, not much here really, just storage stuff, but feel free to take a look around and examine anything.
Shadows Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Maybe we should have some respect and cover the body? Max, you stay here and cover the body. If he tries anything, yell. Well, not much here really, just storage stuff Yeah, if you're the kind of person who just happens to have a medieval army staying with you. I'd like to examine all of those various bits of nasty metalwork to determine if one of them is the murder weapon and then pop open that chest just to the right of the door, just in case Chester hid a nice bottle of something in there. I'm getting a bit thirsty with all this walking about. The good doctor will undoubtedly take a look at that candelabra, since it's the closest thing to a chandelier in the room. Maybe someone could hold it upside-down for him?
WhiteFang Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 The good doctor will undoubtedly take a look at that candelabra, since it's the closest thing to a chandelier in the room. Maybe someone could hold it upside-down for him? Oh, Peter. Please help me with that, and be careful of your head as well.
Scouty Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I would like to check the small dragon statue on top of the boxes.
Hinckley Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 *Max wrestles Peter's jacket off of him and covers the dead body* There, that's respectful. I would like to see if that baby dragon is hungry.
Erdbeereis Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Sheesh! Lord Chester certainly wasn't the most organized guy was he.... I'd like to inspect the barrels and chests, and then pretend to steer a ship with that lovely steering wheel.
Hinckley Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Sheesh! Lord Chester certainly wasn't the most organized guy was he.... I'd like to inspect the barrels and chests, and then pretend to steer a ship with that lovely steering wheel. I would like to play "Mutiny" and push Erdy-Birdy away from the wheel and play with it myself. Wheeeee!
SirNadroj Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I would like to pick up the captain's wheel and pretend to be a scurvy seadog. Hey, look over there - those four candles are lit... that means, umm... that means.... someone's been up here recently? It must have been the murderer!
Hinckley Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Candles? I thought it was just a hideous lamp...
Sir Dillon Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I'd like to look at that dark red thing on the left side of the room. It's a book I think.
Hinckley Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I'd like to check inside that discarded helmet.
Erdbeereis Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 My goodness Mr. Sinclair, if you do any more actions I believe you may well wear yourself out! Don't injure your well-tuned body for the sake of solving a murder.
Hinckley Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I'd like to ignore erdy-berdy and check all the cracks in the ceiling.
Scouty Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Hmmm, after I take a look at the statue, I think I'll go over and look through the window and key hole in the door. I would, then, also like to inspect all the gaps in the ceiling and see if anything is contained on, on top of, or in them.
Shadows Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Since our host, such as he is, seems to be missing, I'll do some more stuff and really give him a fun time catching up. After completing all the previous tasks, I'd like to look under all the chests and barrels for blood, papers or anything else that might be hidden there or attached to them. Then I'd like to pick up the barrels and throw them at Max as he plays Mario to my Donkey Kong. It'll be amusing. He's been locked in this house too long. Yeah, but he's right, it'll be amusing. You've been locked in this house too long. Oh shut up.
