Just a side thought, but seeing the long legged characters from the new "Toy Story" sets, did it make anyone else think " ohhh a proper sized Chewbacca and Darth Vader at last!" ?

Vader is a human...human sized... not that tall...maybe an inch all together with his helmet and robo-body.

Of course, a Chewie would be great like that! But, those legs would never fit properly in a cockpit!

I think we should just leave those legs for the clowns who have stilts down their pants!

You'll just need a cockpit that's three studs long instead of 2!

You'll also need a longer chair (one with four studs).

But anyways, I don't want the long legs to be used in other themes. It's going to make everything look so weird, since some people in Star Wars are actually much taller than the minifig form, like CW Anakin compared to Ahsoka (look at this picture). It would make everything so weird.

okay I know Vader isn't as tall as Chewbacca (David Prowse is 6ft7, Peter Mayhew is 7ft3) but Vader is still about a head taller than most of the other human characters in the films. I just wanted him to look a bit more imposing I guess. Ah well, back to sticking 1x1 plates on his feet.

Back on topic. I like the look of the Tantive IV, I think its been well done, but I probably won't get it, I'm not really a ship collector, and the figs are nothing special.

The tall legs looks great for Woody, but using them for Star Wars characters would just look.. odd.
Well, it's worth a shot.

I rather like the collectors cases - nice way to collect some cool minifigs without buying the sets. Personally, I'd pick up one or two, but not at the prices they've started appearing at on eBay (cheapest approx. £60 inc. shipping!). As such it's unlikely I'll ever have any in my collection; I'm happy to collect cool minifigs through buying the cool sets... and at a reasonable price

How much are they going for on Ebay? They were $49.99 each at the Lego booth, along with the SDCC mini exclusive.

Also, did anyone else get one of the 800 limited edition promo bricks at the Lego booth. The two 4x6 bricks held together with a 1x8 flat brick with "starwars.lego.com" on it said "The Holo-Brick Archives" on them. I got 2 on Sat. and then today, I asked the Lego employees about it, and none of them knew except for one who was a guy from Denmark who was passing them out. He said the the archives was a database of every Lego Star Wars set released with info on it that was going up on Lego.com "soon". He gave me his last one, so now I have three. They look pretty neat. Will upload pictures soon.

Hopefully we will get some awesome sets featuring great characters like Boosk!

There was me just putting the finishing touches on my Trandoshan bounty hunters and now it's likely we'll get a Bossk/Trandoshan head

There are some great characters there but Bossk and Aurra will win it for me!

That sounds pretty cool. I would love to see every LEGO Star Wars set ever released on the LEGO's official website. :sweet:
Here you go:

Here's the archives so far - Obviously not finished. Put "starwars.lego.com/holobrick" into your address bar.

Also, one of the bricks I got, had another half of one (the clone half) holding the two halves together on the back. It was the last one the guy had.

Wow, that looks pretty good so far. I can't wait to see it when it's finished! :sweet:

I don't really understand what you're trying to say. Can you post a picture? :classic:

After watching the Clone Wars episode with the Clones in cold weather gear, I'm 100% sure that one of the new battlepacks seen in the video a while back will include the cold weather clones. I'm also sure that the vehicle it comes with will be on of the enclosed cockpit speeder bikes from the same episode. If you still think the sets will be from OT, why is the packaging in the CW style?

I don't know why he had put that on there, but hey, why not?
Where did you find that at? Edited by booger540
