Nice work on the galleries Captain, they look very nice!

The anchor beams stick out a bit too much i think, they would look better 1 or 2 studs shorter. I'd also make these entirely black, to make it easyer on the eye.

Making the deck tiled is awesome but expensive.

If you are planning to play with it, i'd say go for plates as you wouldn't have to pick up all the figs all the time.

If you plan to only display, doing both is also possible, make the deck tiled, but put plates under the figs so they stay in place.

This is the way i will do it on the Prins Willim.

Thanks! The ship is for display later so I follow your tip by tiling the deck and use plates for the minifig spots. I won't order them right away because I'm planning to update Port Augustine soon too and I try to combine it in one order. I think that's better then thousands of little parcels with small ammounts of bricks.

And to save some money of course.

I get loads of inspiration from your creations this way.

It has guns, 12 on the lower deck and 12 on the upper deck, without swivel guns and forechasers. But there are no cannons in it at these pictures.
