I just took some sets down from my attic in order to rebuild them/return some missing pieces and Extreme Team Challenge was one of the sets.

A box was placed ontop of the set, so the tent got squished and crinkled. Its not ripped, which is a plus, but its hard to fold it in the propper

shape to fit onto the area its supposed to sit on. I was wondering of any ironing methods that would be safe to use to not damage the sail,

and so that afterwards i will be able to fold it into the proper shape. any suggestions are appreciated, as i would like to return this set to its

proper form.

I know from the pirate forum that you can put them in cold, soapy water for a few minutes, and put them on a flat surface to dry. I haven't ever tried it, but I believe doing this a few times gets rid of most of the crinkles. I hope this helps. :pir-wink:

I would try what Chef Zuloo (you have been demoted) first but if you feel the need to iron it you should put a layer of wax paper over the cape so it won't burn it.

Dip and wash gently in soapy water, leave it for a few minute then rinse.

Dry it with tissue or hairdryer, remember to be gentle.

Put a hankercheif ontop and iron it.

Press under a few heavy books for a few days if you like.
