Port WIP

I am currently working on a port and need a few suggestions on how to improve on some of my ideas. I want to put a seawall around most of my port and have docks along the seawall. I also want a few areas of just beach where the pirates can set up camp. Here are the pictures of a few techniques I was trying out for my seawall, docks, and beach.

The back view. The ground won't be green in my complete port it will be grey under the wall.

This is the wall design by itself. I added the little red line to add a bit of color and match the imperial soldiers uniforms.

I still have the fort to build and many more seawall sections. Please leave any ideas or suggestions you may have.

I like the beach and docks technique. The crane looks great too.

I like your town buildings too, but the Governor's Mason is still my favorite, it has better and more details and the colours are more realistic.

The only thing I don't like is the red stripe on the docks. The red used in the wood structure looks ok ( I still prefer black) but the stripe on the stone part isn't my thing.

A suggestion: A warehouse on the docks to store goodies would be a nice touch.

Thanks. I just threw that red strip in at the last minute. Most of my town buildings are really brightly colored because I wanted my port vibrant and lively and not so historically accurate. I will be building some warehouses and larger cranes. I also am going to build a large boat building facility.

Cool. I think I am going to make one for large ships like my Empress and one for small life boats. It probably will be a while before my port is complete I am trying to make sure that I know exactly what I am going to build before I make my bricklink order.

I am going to make a system of roads on baseplates and leave open ares where I am going to put the buildings. Everything will be on plates. I think I'm going to connect the seawall sections with technic pieces.

Ah, now I see how you are going to connect the different sections. You are right, I would use technic pieces to connect the different walls. I wish you the best of luck on completing your MOC.

I actually was just playing with ideas to see how they would turn out. I'm not going to use that exact section as part of my port.

Of course there are a lot of female pirates but this one goes fine as well.

Yes that is one of them. I am also going to build another. Right now I am making the water, streets, and seawall of my port. Updates should be coming soon.
