arnoldtblumberg Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Hi all! My name is Dr. Arnold T. Blumberg, Curator of the pop culture exhibition Geppi's Entertainment Museum in Baltimore and author of books on comics, zombie movies and more. My main fan passion though is Doctor Who, and I'm a moderator on a big Who forum elsewhere. I've also,of course, been a LEGO fan all my life but went through my Dark Age a while back and Cafe Corner brought me back with a vengeance. I'm thrilled to be plugging myself back in and thought I'd make it official by joining here and saying hi. :) Arnold Quote

Dadster Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 As a long-time fan of comics and "pop stuff" in general, I've certainly heard of your museum. I haven't had the chance to visit, but maybe this summer... Welcome to the boards! Asuka - Man, I miss miniskirts... Quote

MatthewUSA Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Welcome to EB Arnold. Glad to see you have become a member. I know you will enjoy your time with this group of Lego maniacs. Cool to read you are a Dr. Who fan too. I have always wondered how many Americans are fans of the show. Most people I mention the show to always respond with "What is that". Model On!! Quote

Yup that's me, but don't hold it against me. :) Ooh, Who customs, I'll check that out! I have always wondered how many Americans are fans of the show. Most people I mention the show to always respond with "What is that". Well that's changing a lot these days thanks to the new show, BBC America and Sci-Fi. Happy to be here! Quote
TheShnomon Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Wow, so there are other Baltimore collectors? Too bad the Baltimore TRU tends to suck... Well, hello there Arnold! Just wondering, but would your museum happen to be locate next to a lighthouse? I think I might've passed by it once, but now I'll need to check it out! Quote

Nope, we're in the Camden Yards complex right next door to the Orioles and across the street from the Convention Center. Personally, I think a lighthouse sounds cooler. :) Quote
