Darth Legolas Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Apologies for the 1 picture, if it weren't for the dang lighting, I would've had a lot more pictures including my original hidden door feature! Here is the one pathetic picture for now: There is interior! Quote
Asuka Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 A very nice ruin scenery... very suitable for some spooky story! Quote
Darth Legolas Posted January 26, 2009 Author Posted January 26, 2009 A very nice ruin scenery... very suitable for some spooky story! It's driving me nuts! On the inside I have a hallway full of Knight statues and a ghost! Stupid, stupid sun! come up now! Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 (edited) Looks great! Can't wait to see the interior. Don't blame the sun, whitout it you can't even live anymore. Edited January 27, 2009 by Cap'n Blackmoor Quote
Loganwan Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I like the look of your building. For ruins, it actually looks too clean. It looks like ruins you would find at Disneyland. I think your towers should be crumbling. Whatever made that leaning tower fall, would probably effect the others as well. Quote

I was thinking about making another tower lean, but I don't want to mess up the image. Which one or two towers else do you suggest I lean over? Quote
Loganwan Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 I was thinking about making another tower lean, but I don't want to mess up the image. Which one or two towers else do you suggest I lean over? I don't think you need to make another tower lean. The layout is so nice and clean, that I think I wonder why one tower is leaning. I think it needs more ruins around, like broken pieces, or parts of the towers that have fallen. I think a tower that is leaning could not hold together. I would still love to see the interior too. Huntleyfx Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I like it a lot, but my only suggestion might be to brickbuild some battlements instead of using prefab pieces, that way they could be somewhat "de-constructed" as the crenelations would be one of the first things to go as the castle ages without being repaired. The use of the many different castle panels is a great idea, and I'd love to see photos of the ghost army and the interior. Quote
BearHeart Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Nice work. Maybe you can add some trees or shrubs around the outside. Quote
soc399 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 (edited) It looks good, but I agree about adding some greenery. Maybe you could make it look somwhat overgrown with a bunch of these pieces and some of these. Edited February 6, 2009 by soc399 Quote
Patriot720 Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Darth legolas, It's been quite a few days since you posted this, so I was just wondering if you ever plan to show us pictures of the interior? I really like the leaning tower, it makes this MOC much more visually interesting Quote
