Skinny Boy Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I had to use the Agent's sets' baddie's torso for something. So I made a Flamethrower for him to wield: Tried to make him look as 'Hot' as possible: More pics (if you haven't seen enough) on Flickr Thanks for looking. Quote
Buttons Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Yes thank you Very nice skinny boy How did you attach each fire piece to one another? Buttons Quote
Darth Legolas Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 How did you attach each fire piece to one another?Buttons You know the little tiny knobs on the side around the peg at the bottom of the fire piece? Slip one of those into a hook around the edge of the fire. It fits right in. No glue, no stains, no mess. Quote
Buttons Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Well you learn something new every day Thanks Quote
BlueBard Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Very nice design! I really like the combination of the flame torso with the flame helmet and the flame round tile, very clever. Quote

Thanks BlueBard! Always good to hear from you. You know the little tiny knobs on the side around the peg at the bottom of the fire piece? Slip one of those into a hook around the edge of the fire. Rayman Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Black legs instead of the dark blue ones might make him even hotter. The red knee pads on this particular set of legs could help also. Quote
Zepher Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Agree with Rayman, but other than that very very nice! I like his flame pack on his back . Quote
Sandy Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 The flamethrower is nice, I guess (I don't know anything about flamethrowers), but I don't get this fad on naming everything "post-apoc". There's nothing post-apocalyptic about this MOC, imo. Quote
Shadows Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 As a longtime fan of flamethrowers, I'd say this is a great job, definitely hot! Next time, perhaps we could get a time lapse shot of him flaming a zombie that turns into a skeleton and then a black skeleton. Quote
Skinny Boy Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 Agree with Rayman, but other than that very very nice! I like his flame pack on his back . Thanks Zeph. I also noticed you're now on Storyatures too! Yay! The flamethrower is nice, I guess (I don't know anything about flamethrowers), but I don't get this fad on naming everything "post-apoc". There's nothing post-apocalyptic about this MOC, imo. Fad? I don't remember any fad. This is called 'Post Apoc' for two reasons: 1: An excuse to make something incomplete... does this flamethrower look like a military standard - a drum of fuel on his back - I wouldn't think so... 2: I build lots of 'Post Apoc' creations, but (sorta like reason 1) they don't fit anywhere. Too real to be fantasy, too weird and creepy to be Town/City... so they become 'Post Apoc'. As a longtime fan of flamethrowers, I'd say this is a great job, definitely hot! Next time, perhaps we could get a time lapse shot of him flaming a zombie that turns into a skeleton and then a black skeleton. Thanks ImperialShadows! I'll think about a vig or two with a zombie.
