Joey Lock Posted January 29, 2009 Author Posted January 29, 2009 newer sets are more life-like. older sets while bulky or cartoony are smaller and easier to moc.http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/godfrey/Test/pict0242.jpg see? the new dirt bike looks sleek. the older bike is cutesy. "older sets while bulky or cartoony are smaller and easier to moc." No offence but were you asleep through the whole of 2008! Havent you seen the new Star Wars sets? Quote
just2good Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Old! I mean, 1980-2003 were great years. 2003 was the last of the olds, due to the begging and endding of orient expedetion. 2004 started the peach/flesh faces, instead of yellow in the liceansed themes. Quote
rriggs Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I voted for both although what I actually prefer is 1980-1999 and then 2003 onwards. There was a distinctly iffy bit in between which I didn't get at all! Cheers Rog Quote
Dadster Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I voted "New" only because all my stuff is newer. All my older sets were lost/ taken/ given away sooo long ago. Quote
