Derek Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I saw these on Brickshelf, and they were just too good to ignore. Here's to hoping that the boat(s) in the Venice set look something like that. Credit to Brickshelf user numpty. Quote
Ak-47 Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Wow, much better than what we got. No random splashes of yellow or red either ~AK-47 Quote
Zarkan Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Actually, from what I can tell these "original designs" are actually from the Lego Indiana Jones video game. He has another folder that has "original designs" for lego Batman, but I can tell that they're from the videogame based on that theme. Quote

He made them with an LDD..., but the based of the original Videogame! But without that they are really lovely. Nevertheless thanks for this gallery! Greetings Bricks Quote
Zzz Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 ... saw this also a few days ago when I was searching for 2009 pics. Why are the video game designers better in designing lego vehicles than the TLC guys??? Quote
NewRight Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Fantastic designs. The renderings look great too! Great find! Quote
Quarryman Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) Why are the video game designers better in designing lego vehicles than the TLC guys??? Well, the video game designers don't have to meet a price tag like TLC's designers, nor do they have to follow guidelines for how complex the build can be. Edited January 23, 2009 by Quarryman Quote
BlueBard Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Wonderful designs, specially the boat from Venice Pursuit! Great Find! Quote
LuxorV Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Very nice rendering of the designs original of the game (maybe that's what he intended... ). They don't seem to be made with LDD, though. Maybe it's CAD? LuxorV Quote
WetWired Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 (edited) Being another video game developer I can tell you it's Maya :P But yeah these are great, I'd love to try them myself If I had enough pieces Edited January 23, 2009 by WetWired Quote
