It looks pretty cool, but if its an imperial ship, why does it have the Jolly Roger on the flag? Just joking. I don't like the color scheme......

This MOC so far seems to be lacking the tumblehome effect found on most sailing vessels.

Good point Phred, althou in all fairness, that effect can often require bricks many people don't have.

This ship is looking good so far. Possibly a different colour scheme though as red and black are dark colours of hate, depression, anger etc. In other words, the current colour scheme would fit a pirate ship better than an imperial ship. Perhaps some royal and majestic colours such as white, blue, gold, yellow and green might assist the mix of colours.

Anyway, you did well to change the BB into this. I look foward to the final result.

Captain Zuloo, I don't know what you mean by this statement. :pir_wacko:

Doesn't everybody make B-L purchases whenever they need a certain brick. :pir-tongue:

Didn't french ships have red stripes with mostly black on their ships?

B's French ship has a similar color scheme.

Unless B's L'Orient isn't French. :pir-oh3:

Ha, didn't know that (I'm a newbie...lol)...

so every country had his colours Phred ?

Not every nation had it's own coloursheme in real.

In the battle of Trafalgar the Spanish, French and British ships had the same colours. Black with yellow stripes and decorations.

Of course, ship types and build styles were different between nations but that's another story.
