Well. I have a Birthday coming up so this is what I plan to buy.

6 x Soldier's Arsenal ($ 4.99)

2 x Cannon Attack ($6.99)

After this Purchase I would Have infantry of 6 Soldiers, 2 cannons, and 3 hussars for my British Army. :)

Any Comments?

Yeah, you should either buy soldier's arsenal from S@H or buy more Cannon Battle sets instead of paying $5 for an Impulse set, unless you live where they're not available :-/

It is available in Canada. So you suggest on the Cannon Battle? I want the impulse set because, you know, I would like to have the backpacks. :D

Okay, nevermind! :pir_laugh2: $5 Canadian isn't that bad. That's how much in USD TRU sells the impulse sets for, but S@H sells them for $3.50 USD. Toys R Us mark up is a female canine when you're buying a lot of sets. I only paid it at first because they weren't available anywhere else. :pir-tongue:

If I were you, I wouldn't do anything too big, but perhaps the Classic-Pirates.com community might press the LEGO® Group for a battle pack of soldiers. But that may or may not happen. Another alternative is to purchase a large army ready made. An idea would be to look at our Build The Grandest Army You Possibly Can Thread which is constantly providing access to soldier auctions.

Anyway, good luck with your army, and when it's completed, be sure to let us know! :pir-wink:

I think now the impulses are $6.99 at TRU. :hmpf: The same price they're charging for cannon battle, which makes absolutely no sense. Why would anyone buy it for that price?

TRU Website. I'm sticking with cannon battles from Target. :pir-grin:

Toy r Us is not my only option. I got this local lego store (only lego) which has discounts all year long! :pir-laugh:

I don't really like used lego. Plus ebay has those snipers, I always lose. :(

You know, I was thinking about a battle pack, or a simple chess set like the one for Vikings or KKII. A chess set for 50 $ would be great. :)

If you like, I would suggest buying the Soldier's Fort, 6242. This set includes 4 Imperial Guards, a Imperial Fort of course and 2 pirates.

I think it would be better if you bought:

x2 Cannon battle- $6.99

x2 Impulse- 4.99

x1 Soldiers Fort- $49.99

So you have a total of 8 Imperial Guards, 3 cannons and 4 pirates.

Thanks lego King!

THAT'S GREAT! But I could only spend up to 50 $ sadly. :(

But I could buy the soldier fort now and the other sets later maybe.

Oh, that stinks. But yeah, I would buy the Soldiers Fort now instead of buying a buch of little sets because you would have a fort to put your soldiers on. As time goes on, you can buy impulse sets and some cannon battle's.

I am glad to hear that I helped you!

then it have to be right for me . Yippieyeeee, Pirates are BÆKK hehe

one thing S*** and that is S@H on lego . they wont sell to Norway, and the reason they give is that we are not apart of EU, so people from Canada, USA, Australia and other non EU folks, WHAT are you doing right?? hehe
