Everytime I watch a Wallace/Gromit movie it makes me want to go build lego... they are so detail intensive it is insane, nothing I've ever built can compare. Aside from the inspiration this was also a pretty good movie... Thoughts?

We saw it today.

It was good, not great ( a bit slow in parts, but W&G are always like that).

The highlight was actually the short that preceded the moving with the four penguins from Madagascar.

The contrast between the two was that W&G would pretty much only make a kid laugh, while the penguins had something for both the kids and for the adults.

Still, I would recommend taking kids under 12 to W&G. Any older...... maybe not.

Pardon my Irish sense of humour... ;)

I completely disagree.

I'd say Wallace and Gromit is emmensely cross generational.

Curse of the Were-Rabbit is pretty much an introduction to the horror genre for kids.

I saw it at ten to nine at night and the audience was completely adults bar ONE lucky kid.

And everyone was in hysterics.

I thought it was consistanly funny, and it didn't let up.

But hey, we can agree to disagree.

Obviously I wanna see it! W&G have always been a moderately large part of me, and the movie looks cool. Not sure if it can beat A Close Shave though.....

I watched A Grand Day Out today, on BBC 1 (I think they are showing all 3 of the short feature films)

The animation seems so static compared to the clips I have seen of the film, but it was great!

I plan on seeing the film next weekend, and I also want to try and pick up a DVD of the 3 original films if I can.

There's no doubt that the quality of the animation in Wererabbit surpasses all the others.

I found Close Shave and Wrong Suit funnier. They were much shorter of course, and I wonder how much has to do with my attention span.

I also got a video with 10 'cracking contraptions', each episode was about 3-4 minutes long, just showing one invention from Wallace and then it going wrong. :-D
