The russians plan to use it to destroy us. Mac: Wouldn't they be smarter and do some trap? IJ: Yes. If we touch the machine, it activates. Mac: Oh. Well, it was expected. Comrad Evsal: Well Dr. Jones. We meet again. IJ: The notorious Comrad Evsal. So what... you've come to stop me yet again. Comrad Evsal: I'm afraid so... IJ: Sorry... this isn't going to go according to plan for you... IJ: Watch out! Its about to blow! Mac: Look... the comrads gettin away! IJ: He won't mess with us... PART 2: Beyond the Chalkboard IJ: Short Round, its been to long. Short Round: It has Dr. Jones. IJ: So what have you been doing lately. Short Round: Some work down in Hawaii. We are excavating an ancient tomb there... IJ: Lets go back to the college and you can explain it to me. IJ: So what about- What happened to my chalkboard! Marcus look! What happened? Brody: Russian Gaurds came in and told me if anything was spoken I'd be dead. IJ: Tell me anyways... I don't think they are listening. Brody: Well, they came in with an order from a court to look in here and they ransacked it in here... IJ: I can tell... it looks as though something is in there... Short Round: Lets find and see what it is... IJ: Look. They took something from that skeloten's hand. See, all of them have something in them... Short Round: It appears so... IJ: What would they take that is so important? And why was it behind my chalkboard? Short Round: Look... a ladder! IJ: It looks like it was hung here by Russians... I wonder what they're doing up there... Short Round: What are we waiting for? Lets go see! IJ: Let me get rid of this torch first... IJ: There... lets go. IJ: Why would they have a communist base here! I think you should go back. This is my job only. Short Round: We'll catch up later... goodbye Dr. Jones. IJ: I'll be in the office next week on monday at 5. I think this will be over by then... IJ: What are you doing here! And why did you break my chalkboard! Russian Gaurd: Were... were looking for some staff! Please! Don't kill me! IJ: Tell me more. Russian Gaurd: I don't know any more. Talk to the mechanic! She knows almost anything! IJ: (mutters) Go to hell communist. IJ: So... I've heard you have the information around here. Mechanic: Yeah. From who? IJ: The locals. Mechanic: As in russians? IJ: Yeah. Mechanic: So I've got information. What makes you think I'll give any to you? IJ: I've got money. Mechanic: Ok. Lets set a price. How much do you got? IJ: About $500. My name is Indiana Jones by the way- I'm an archeologist. Mechanic: I'm Carry. I can't be heard talking about it. Go to the docks tommorow. I'll give you the information there. IJ: I'll give you the money now... PART 3: Shipwrecked and Killer Bees! Carry: Sorry Dr. Jones. We've had a change in plans. No information for you. Goodbye. IJ: I don't think so... communist. IJ: The shipwreck island of Fel Dor... An archeologist dream... IJ: So... we meet again Comrad Evsal Comrad Evsal: We meet again... Dr. Jones. HAHAHA! IJ: Your laugh is about to be shorten- KABOOM! Comrad Evsal: Those bees are no problem. They'll flee once their hive is destroyed. Sorry Dr. Jones, I'll have to arrest you now... IJ: What are you even looking here for? Comrad Evsal: The resting place for the staff of kings. IJ: What does this staff do? Comrad Evsal: Gives us Russians power over you and American scum like you... IJ: DROP DEAD! IJ: Sorry. Can't always get what you want. The Keeper: You do not have worthiness for this staff. YOU WILL ALL DIE!!! But I have decided to leave the staff here for a more worthy kind of my knowledge. Goodbye... EPILOUGE: IJ: It looks like the staff was something like a portal. A being itself. Short Round: What do you mean? IJ: I did some researching on it. The eternal power was something if you were worthy enough. I had it locked up in a military warehouse. Short Round: I'm sure these men had good plans with it? IJ: Yes. I think they did. They were top men. Sandy Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I liked the idea, and it was nice to see familiar faces such as Short Round. Alas, as a comic this didn't quite work. I didn't really understand what was going on. You should've used more text to explain what Indiana was doing and what for. There should've been more dialogue too. You should also concentrate on getting the words spelled right - I know it can be difficult if English isn't your first language, since it's not mine either - but too many spelling mistakes makes the text harder to read and understand. So yeah, put a bit more effort to telling the story instead of just showing it, and this comic will be great! Quote
