Apache Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 (edited) Finished the 2nd building..seriously, if you havn't bought this set yet, what are you waiting for? Skip a meal, charge it on the credit card, ask Mom and Dad for an advance on your allowance, get the cash and get the set. It is my favorite of all time. If you need more motivation check out the pics on the link below More pics.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/8537249@N04/s...57612490993085/ Edited January 20, 2009 by Apache Quote
mania3 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Ah good, I've been waiting for something like this. Really cool pictures! As if I needed another reason to get this set. I can't wait until mine arrives. Quote
Mrs Pegleg Blockbeard Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 That set looks so good, Geoff Cptn PB is begging me to buy him an early birthday gift now, haha. By the way, that's some excellent legography there mate! Well done! Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Great pics! And it's cool you lucky guys have already the Medieval market village. They ship to the netherlands from 26 Januari... We can order it already but we won't receive it before the 26th... Quote
Medievalego Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 What a fun build and I'm not even done building the 2nd building yet. I had to take some pics, I hope you all enjoy. HAHAHAHAHA! This may have just become my most favorite LEGO picture of all time. Very nice! *now off to check out the rest* ~Medievalego~ Quote
strider406 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Nice pics. I don't know if I will pick up that set or not as it is kinda expensive, but it looks really neat. Quote
Apache Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 Thank you all for the kind comments. I love the way the photos turned out and thought it would inspire, so it makes me want to take more when I hear the positive feedback. Strider, I'm not sure what your economical situation is at the present time, but I highly reccomend this set. I hesitated for a moment at the lego store, thinking, "$100 dollars is quite a bit of coin for plastic bricks" I'm so impressed with this set, I might even hold off buying Brick Beards Bounty and buying another one, it's awesome. I waited 30 years for a set like this, and now it has come! Buy it! Quote
Wout Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Atleast the crown soldiers can defend sonething. Your pic of a farmer with a pitchfork and two dead orcs is also great. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Very nice pictures Apache! I especially like the way you used the box to give extra depth in this picture. Did you draw the peasant and wolfpack pictures in the same folder? They are very nice. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Those pictures are lovely. They look very real, yet still have that LEGO charm. Quote
Zepher Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Wonderful pictures! They are all very artfully taken! The pitchfork man is also incredible! Quote
Apache Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 Thank you all, check my flicker site later as I plan on making some more interesting compositions once the blue building is built. Did you draw the peasant and wolfpack pictures in the same folder? They are very nice. :) Yeah, I drew him and the Wolf Pack guy last night. I've been wanting to draw lego for a while and finally got the pencil and markers out and made some. I plan on doing more! Quote
ptdapen Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Very nice pictures, to start off! It looked very "classical" in the sense of old pictures, and very chaotic as well! I'm presuming the peasants have won the battle from the picture with one holding a troll head and standing on another? I hope to do something like this sometime. Its always been my intention when this set came out Quote

iamded Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Great pics, Apache! As if I needed more inspiration to buy this. Well, actually, seeing as this is close to 300 NZD online, the inspiration helped. I'll have to wait 'till next year to get this, but it'll be considerably cheaper then. Hopefully. ~Peace Quote
