I recently (Dec 26) placed an order with S@H worth a little over AUD$400 which I picked up from the post office today. Everything I ordered was in the box and in excellent condition. The odd part is this - my credit card has still not been charged. Has this happened to anyone else?

It almost seems as if the warehouse worked over the Christmas break while the office workers took time off. I might have to give them a call to fix this up.

Normally your card should be charged when the package leaves the warehouse.

I'd call rather than email as they take so long to respond at the moment they may charge your card while you're waiting to hear back - better to speak to someone in person.

That's pretty much what I thought. The bit that really surprised me was that the package was sent at all. The S@H website still shows my order as "in process".

member metalandi had a similar issue with an order for 10193 Medieval Market Village he made where he received it before it had 'officially' shipped... i suspect as you said it is just glitching at this time of year.

I haven't had this experience with S@H, as little as I use it. I have however experienced similar with other net-based stores.

My advice is that you keep an eye on what happens on your account - not for any suspicious activity - but to make certain you don't overcharge it. In other words, set aside the money you've "spent", because sooner or later (my experience; two months later!) that money will leave your account.

That way you'll avoid any unexpected economic trouble.

I've had that happen a couple of times. Once it took a whole month for the charge to appear on my account. If it's bothering you, calling will usually get them to ram the charge through. Otherwise, if you wait patiently it'll go through eventually deino2.gif

The TLC finally charged my credit card a couple of days ago so all is good. S@H must have been pretty busy over the holiday season. Curiously my order is still listed as "in process", I hope this doesn't interfere with future orders. I guess time will tell.
