alexrider7 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Hi! This is my first post in the Bionicle forum. Well, feast your eyes on this. The stadium where the glatorians fight. And Gresh! Look at this: Gresh: Gresh again: Thornax Launcher: Now, the stadium moc: Theres writing on the walls that state the rules of the stadium (Since its early in the year, I had a lot of freedom to explore the dephs of the stadium): Now, the floor of the stadium (there is a huge crack in the floor. Great, isn't it?): And the pillars (sorry for the blurriness): Now, the giant thornax at the top: Questions, comments? Details: It took me about a day to make. About an hour was spent doing the Gresh decals. The rest of the day was spent with the moc. It was made with the base of the Statue of Liberty. Over and out, alexrider7
Brickposter1748 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Very nice moc 4/10 but the gresh mini-fig um.. to tell u this its pretty god but um....u know at i mean

Natman8000 Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Wow, the sheer amazingness makes me feel so... so... so.... Sick! Move along. why be such a jerk? I like alexrider7's original idea. Its of wierd seeing bionicles as actual minifigures but it is a fun and creative moc nonetheless.
The Crazy One Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 why be such a jerk? I like alexrider7's original idea. Its of wierd seeing bionicles as actual minifigures but it is a fun and creative moc nonetheless. Please, lets not start more spamming rubbish again. Hey, thats a great moc you go there, but the minifig Gresh needs a bit of work with the decals. 9/10
Natman8000 Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Please, lets not start more spamming rubbish again. Hey, that was before our little "war" I think Pencoin shouldn't be so negative over other people's hard work.
The Crazy One Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Hey, that was before our little "war" I think Pencoin shouldn't be so negative over other people's hard work. I don't think it was in a negative way, but back on topic, still a great moc!
TechnicJuan Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 (edited) I think if someone thinks their creation is good enough to post pictures, then they should be ready for any comments, negetive or positive. So on this site if someone posts pics of a red brick and a blue brick snapped together and says "Check out my new bulldozer" then everyone is supposed to give good comments about it? That is nonsense. And besides this should not even be in this forum, it does not contain one technic or bionacle part. And is that clay??? Edited January 17, 2009 by TechnicJuan
JINZONINGEN73 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 And besides this should not even be in this forum, it does not contain one technic or bionacle part. And is that clay??? System or Technic, you must agree this is indeed a Bionicle moc. It's up to his discretion if he wants it here or elsewhere. As far as negative and positive comments, etc,... I guess you're referring to Pencoin? Yeah, he was banned for a number of things, not just the poopy conduct in this topic. As for the topic creator, he's taken the negative criticism from everyone in perfect stride, so I don't know where anyone's getting an idea that you can't say what you think about a moc. Keep it respectful and everyone goes home alive at the end of the day. Easy. (Geez people, way to create chaos where none exists.) Regarding the moc... well, admittedly, it's not "flashy". The base set is only 2 colors in total. Some of the texturing is interesting, but a lack in the diversity of the parts used hurts it. Granted, you might not HAVE many more parts, making use with that which you do have (the Statue of Liberty base), so it's completely understood where this moc came from and where you took it to... and that's not too bad. Stickers on Gresh are a bit, well, "rippy" lol but things do get complicated at that microscopic size. His sculpting clay weapon is my biggest gripe. Since it's clay, it can be made into a more accurate representation.
Avohkahs' Sparks Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 It's good, but I think it's a little small to be a stadium.
HumanPackMule Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 It's good, but I think it's a little small to be a stadium. Wait...it's a stadium? I thought it looked more like the top of the stadium from the comics than the stadium itself.
Mesonak Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 (edited) Wait...it's a stadium? I thought it looked more like the top of the stadium from the comics than the stadium itself. Lol. Anyway, yeah, the minifigure is meh. Could use some work. But the stadium is awesome, if a little too small. =/ Nice work nontheless. edit: nice work guys on reviving an old topic such as this one in such a manner. I'll close this Edited June 9, 2009 by KimT
