This was a simple MOC I made for my son, but with the intent of making the best looking kart I was able.

I spent most of the construction time to make a front bumper I be happy with.

The Kart has a V2 motor, though I know the karts usually use just a 1 cylinder motor, and so, to make some purist happy, later I made a version of a more realistic motor, though I still prefer the V2 :sweet:

I know this isn't a great MOC for the experts, but I'm just starting with Technic from scratch after a 15 years DarkAge.

For some reason I just felt compelled to share my humble work here. :sceptic:

Enjoy

If this is your first MOC, then I'd say you are doing very well indeed. I like the blending of older and newer parts. Looks as good as any Go Kart that Lego made.

By the way, how can you have a V1 engine?

You caught me on the tight curve.

I know almost nothing about mechanics, but at least I know it's not possible to have a V without 2 branches.

So I suppose it crossed my (LEGO) mind that it was possible to conceive a V1 from ripping off one piston to a V2, and let rest the remain piston at the original inclined position

It was just a matter of speech (not good, I know).

Thanks for your reply.

Regards

PS: By the way... I'll take the opportunity to thank you for your priceless work with Technicopedia.
