Here's the beginning of my second castle.. Due to a (rather huge) lack of pieces to finish the first one, I've started this one. I have a lot of nice details in mind to add to it.

Most of the things will be kept: Waterfall, river, the army, the tower with the pointy roof, the look of the walls, the houses, the tree in the courtyard, etc.

The surface will be the same: 4 x 4 / 5 x 4 baseplates (so totally about 20 baseplates).

There's a drawing too of how it should look like. It won't be a 100% the same, but the basic structure will be maintained.

Comments are very welcome!

2nd try

Here are the pics of the first castle, to compare them both

Capital City Castle

And to all: A very Merry Christmas and my best wishes for 2009!

Aww...too bad you couldn't finish Capital City Castle...but I understand you, its crisis and bricks are expensive and building such a huge MOC is not only time but also space consuming.

The first pics of your second version look great though  .

Yes, I'm planning to make a siege. First it'll be a normal castle, with medieval life in it, and afterwards I'll make a battle scene too.

I'm also a bit disappointed that I couldn't finish the first one, but it would have taken too many pieces, money and time to wait! There were already a lot of buildinghours in it, so it was quite hard to suddenly make the decission to demolish it, but oh well.. it's too late now :look:

It looks awesome, already. The castle is beginning to look nice, but what I really like at this moment is the environment, the lake with a tower in it and the rocks, it looks just great. Keep up the nice work! :classic:
