Evolution of the shore

I wanted to do something to kill the time in the vacation, so here it is. The concept is simple, I'll be making adjustments to a shore near a river I made, an each adjustment will be a step in time forwards. I don't already know if I would bring in some 'non-realistic' things like magic or to keep it like something that could have been happened... So, what do you think?

Two monks reach a place, it's a swamp and a forest, so the perfect place to make a new abbey.

(This is based on the legend of Sint-Bertinus. Bertinus let go a boat on the river and the place where it stranded, there they made Saint Omer, a village in France.)

Neat little creation. I like the way the you used wedges for the shore. If you plan on expanding this, I think a larger boat would be good.
