Zorro Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Looks amazing, Woody, yet another great achievement made by you . Quote
woody64 Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 Very good design again. But can you also place this one on the bottom of the barrel of the gun? That would be a nice improvement OK, you prefer it more in that way: Woody64 Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Ah! So it is possible that way, great! In that case I think it's the best bayonette I have seen so far If this one was in store and in a good colour I would certainly buy some. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I also think those are very realistic, and even usable for WWI and WWII MOCs. Nice work Woody, as usual. Quote
woody64 Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 (edited) I also think those are very realistic, and even usable for WWI and WWII MOCs. Nice work Woody, as usual. The item can be purchased in white and in limestone ($11.7) for the three available colours follow this link: http://www.shapeways.com/tutorials/dyeing_sls If you guys are thinking that a package of 20 bayonet pieces is more interesting then it's possible to reach a price of beyond ($19). The colouring option is also available for axe, mace, old bayonet, pallasch, degen, 8x brodie. In principle it's possible for any white&flexible but only makes sense with packages from the pricing point of view. But if there's a strong interest for one item I can pack it. Woody64 P.S.: I tried a helmet with colour option (limestone) once. Edited September 26, 2009 by woody64 Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Looking great Woody! I'll be sure to feature these on Classic-Pirates.com in the near future! Quote
woody64 Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 The items are now available in colors: Black, Limestone, Terra Cotta, Blue Additionally the surface looks much smoother after coloring! In this picture you see the new bayonette in swordform colored in Limestone and a lot of Napoleonic hats colored in black by the producer. http://www.flickr.com/photos/34336019@N07/4194725094/ Woody64 Quote
