The jetpack turned out looking a little gothic to me though.

Alright the links are working now. I think the jetpack is pretty cool and your right it is rather gothic, I like the size of it compared to a minifig , but i think you should change the pilot minifig because he doesn't look very "steam-punky" to me. As for the chain gun I like the actual gun barrel but I think it needs some work. It just looks a little to slapped together , but that can probably easily be fixed with a bit of modding . Also perhaps you could use some ideas from the Confederate Steam Gun, which would fit greatly into the steam-punk gene .

Yes it seems that ithe gun is missing something most of the time when I make a steampunk or a different style I made up called junkshop I try to substitute normal peices you need to build it with stranger or more detailed peices.Do you know what I mean? But that jet-pack you made would look allot more steampunkey if it had the wings from the Buckbeak lego fig from harry potter! For now it kinda looks like batman should pilot it!
