Interesting concept, but I'm gonna say no.

reason: It's a little to real for Lego.

That would be like them making M-16's and AK-47's or Tommy guns ... okay bad example but you get it.

LEGO didn't make Tommy guns, per se. They have made a gun that looks an awful lot like one. Look at the Batman sets. Most of those come with a gun that looks very much like a Thompson sub-machinegun without the front handle. I believe that even the new Indiana Jones Shanghai Chase has that mold of gun. I don' think that shotguns are much more far fetched than that.
