MattZitron Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Ok gang, I listed this auction today full of Bionicle goodness. I've done so cause I need money BAD! Anyway, if any of you guys frequent Bionicle boards or have Bionicle friends who might be interested could you pass on the link? Cheers Matt Quote
Zane Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Hey cool! I'd like to help you out, but I already have most of those sets. Could you tell me if the Takutanuva comes with the Movie Edition Kraakahn and what the Tahu Nuva mask looks like (there are four different versions including the one on the box. How is the green placed?) unless it's un-opened. Quote
MattZitron Posted September 29, 2005 Author Posted September 29, 2005 Can people in the U.S. auction? If you mean BID then yes. But you must realise the postage could be big. Matt Quote
keetongu Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 What do you mean the postage could be big? Off topic:Uh-oh, it's thundering so I'm gonna have to get off now if I want to swing. Quote

MattZitron Posted September 30, 2005 Author Posted September 30, 2005 I've updated the auction with FULL postage costs. US bidders BEWARE big money for shipping. Someone like Fedex might be cheaper. Quote
gylman Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Hi Matt I am a big time eBay buyer (see "gylman" user on eBay) and have bought many things from UK. I am in Canada, and I know the Royal Mail schedule like the back of my hand. Your package must be several kg, and you will not get the value you deserve from your goodies because of the massive cost of shipping. People just won't bid. If you break up the auction lot into several lots that weigh 1 kg or less, even 2 kg or less (including the weight of the box!!) that can be shipped at a more reasonable rate, you will get much more for your efforts. No one has bid as of yet, and you could still take the auction off, or revise it with only part of the lot, and create some new ones. Speaking as a buyer, unless I am looking for bulk parts, I usually don't like paying for items "also included" in an auction, let alone the extra shipping cost. I know it's a hassle to relist, but it depends why you are doing the auction. If you really need the money, you definitely will be much better off to subdivide your big auction. $0.02 Cheers. Gyl BTW: 56 days for surface mail to North America may be misleading. My experience is Royal Mail takes 2-3 months to Canada, and I assume also the US. PS: I just looked at your feedback profile. You look like almost an identical eBay buyer to me. Probably you are aware of those issues I raised. Sorry if what I said was obvious or redundant. Quote
MattZitron Posted September 30, 2005 Author Posted September 30, 2005 Well for the sake for easiness, I'm leaving as is. If it gets to the last day with no bids, or SUPER LOW bids, I'll sub divide. Matt Quote
MattZitron Posted October 2, 2005 Author Posted October 2, 2005 why are you selling all that :P There's this thing called money. I don't have much. And want more. And I got this stuff AGES ago. And I'm a Lego fiend, and don't want to have this stuff about, cause then I might be tempted to buy more! Quote
