Megablox. A Lego fans worst nightmare. But has anyone here really taken an in - depth look at these monsters? I don't beleive so. And that's why I'm here!

So, we all hate the blox and wish to blow them up, chop them in peices, and just plan get rid of them, but why?

Part 1: Bad

These "evil bricks" are sometimes used to replace swear words here on EB, but why? Becuase, for one thing, they are a rip - off of our beloved Lego. Lego was here first. Lego created in: 1940's, Megablox created in: 1967. And what does that equal? Megablox = RIPOFF Also, the bricks are terrible at sticking together! And they don't have very many lines. Lego floats, Megablox sinks (that's true, I tried it once!)!

Part 2: Good?

Yes, I did make a section for good. The only thing I can find good is, well, NOTHING!!!

Part 3: Conclusion

In conclusion, Megablox suck.

I thought reading the Brickstud's term of use was the bigest time waster I did today. Obviously, I was wrong.

I use it for filler. Like one uses old paper when packing away MOCs to be moved around in boxes.

You think Megablox are bad? I found something in a Pound Shop that is worse. :P

I also use megablox as mod-fodder, so as not to use high quality LEGO bricks for cutting.

I agree, Megablox suck, but there are a few good peices out there. Like that one peice with studs on both sides. But other than that they do still suck.

The only thing that Mega Blox ever had that I wanted (now I have the money for LEGO) was Gundam, and I've not heard a thing about any sets since I heard the rumour that MB had mecha to compete with Exoforce.

Like I said, there is worse out there, and I still use the skateboards, ramps and rather nice looking steel girder supports I had from an old skate park set I bought about six years ago. The baseplates that came with it are usefull too.

If you don't like it, don't buy it. LEGO lost the court case for copyright on the functional design of the brick last month. The tried to sue and failed as this article states Here.

Megablocks does me a lot of good. They lower lego's prices here in America, which means, cheaper lego to me.
