Captain REX Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 It is wildy out of proportion! the cockpit should be much bigger! Ahsoka walked out of the cockpit door in the movie and you can only fit a minifigure sitting down in this! Quote
yellost Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 The viking sets I got features firing misiles, but they are not technic bushings fitted into a technic hole, that are popped out when triggered.Front I was talking about 7017 the missiles were loaded in a technic beam the same way it's done here. And there was that springed piece from the soccer sets at the back of the crossbow to be used to fire the missile, which made the clip go down to prep the next missile in line. Needless to say, as usually with most of those lame missile thingies in LEGO sets, it didn't work that good but the idea was there... and it seems they improved the design to make it work, this time around. Zzz Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 thanks a lot for the revies, good pics and demonstration of the playability! I must admid, the missile things sound like a LOT of fun, but I once again I understand something completely different under the term "shuttle", not one minifig stuck in 4 empty studs somewhere in a ship.... I just hope that if they ever try a good Tyridium Shuttle, it will be worth the term! What about the "pirate shuttle" or "seperatist shuttle" coming out later this year anyway? I tried to find them on the net, how they might look alike but didn't find aynthing at all.. Anyone....?? Quote
Algernon Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I think this set looks terrible. The flick-fire missile abuse is so obvious, and the design is really sloppy. The actual ship from the movies was sleek and cool looking, but this just looks like garbage. I refuse to buy a set with a huge totem pole of flick-fire fail jammed into the top of it. I had high hopes for this set, too. Oh well- good review, anyway. Quote
A Cross Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Has anyone done a cleaner build of this set? Quote

A similar system was also employed in Viking set 7020, that time with a double firing mechanism which I thought worked very well. David Quote
MaxGoof Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Is this an Expanded Universe set or does this shuttle actually appear somewhere in The Clone Wars? I've recognized every vehicle so far in the line except for this one, which seems odd to me... Quote

Darth Legolas Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 The shuttle is in several episodes of the Clone Wars cartoon. Not to mention the movie itself! Ahsoka is dropped off. So many horrible ratings on this set! So many OT and non-Star Wars fans are hating on us CW fans hard! Hey, we never tell you the Millennium Falcon is ugly, so don't tell us the Nu is! Plus, if anyone's to e mad at, it's George Lucas! By the way, the Review still has to take down his "new pieces list." Also, since I now own this set I'd like to say a few things about it. At the bottom, it comes with two white arches as "landing gear," but they look horribly ugly, and the ship can still be flat on the ground with out them. Not to mention the ship looks exact, minus the Mid-scale factor. Quote
