Hi Folks...here is an interesting little bit of data I compiled last night.

I like purchasing bulk lego rather than sets from auction sites, so last night I went back through a bunch of closed sales information from auctions that I've been watching.

There are 47 auctions that closed in the last 45 days - here is the list:

The first column is weight in Kilos.

Second is Price sold in NZ dollars.

Third Column is the price per Kilo.

I think it would also depend on the theme of lego, whats in it (themes, figures) as these would make a huge difference in value. Now i'm guessing these are off Trademe? I also think lego is worth less in other countries, because of market value. Prehaps you could get some Ebay auctions in the mix?
