AgentRick Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Hello everyone! today I have to show you three new moc's I made over the weekend. 1) New York Central F7 I decided to make a black version of the classic engine based on a classic road that I know well. Sad to say, there is no engine in the back like the original, and I had to change the front due to limited parts. 2) Port dock with loading bay This is actually the second version of a moc I made last year, which had no back side and very unstable. Again, there is no interior. I might go and put in some control panels or crates. 3) Tug Boat A little boat I made with a spare boat hull, I made the top area very detailed with plenty of sonar and other devices. Unlike the others, this one has a small interior with a bed and controls. 4) Group shots To finish this off, I took some pictures of the three Mocs together at work. Next one of these I do might have a Modular building theme, which I might show next week if the holidays don't interfeer. Quote
Dennimator Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I really like the locomotive and dock, but I think the dock would fit better as a loading bay for trains. The locomotive is well built, and that´s a very nice use of SNOT at the front. But to be honest, I don´t really like the tug boat. It´s nicely built, but that window just seems out of place. I think that a hull of that size fits better for a smaller private boat. Quote
AgentRick Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 Well, I designed the tugboat to be in scale with the boat from the harbor set and they looks pretty good together. Also the original design for the dock had the track between the building and the dock whereas this version has the building in the middle. I also designed this one to fit into my planned layout.
