Toys R Us in Winnipeg (at least ONE location anyway) had the City Advent calendar for $31.99. First time i've seen it at Toys R Us too.

I was surprised to see it at Wal-Mart. I don't think they've ever carried it before, have they?

Yeah, I saw that. The one on Regent right? They had a fairly good stock there.

I've seen one at Zellors as well- no Cad Bane's speeder, though.

The past couple years TRU has gotten the January wave sets in about mid-December. About a week before Christmas usually.

There's a new Toys R Us Express at Bridlewood mall, but I don't know if they have the same stocks and shipments as regular TRUs. I'd go to another one, but the next closest to me is too far away.

I'm gonna head to the TRUs in Oakville and Mississauga to check for the Pharaoh sets. I'll report on my findings too.

I managed to pop into both the TRU at the Dufferin Mall, and the TRU Express at the Woodbine Mall this afternoon but they didn't have anything new yet. Though all the sets in the Pharaoh's Quest line aren't quite what I'd hoped they would be, I still plan on picking them all up anyways. I don't think I've been this excited for a theme since we first saw the new Pirates stuff at the end of 2008.

I can confirm that all of these sets were also at the TRU at the Sherway mall. They had the new Pharaoh's Quest sets in ridiculous quantities.
