Sir Norman Ray Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 So here it is, Merry Christmas! So this was something I quickly put together for work. We had a best dressed competition on our banks of desks, and my team asked me for a LEGO scene. After a quick sketch, going through my loft for the baseplate and redesigning as the plate was half the size of my plans, this is what I came up with. The Entire scene Last minute postal delivery. (Hey, it is Royal Mail! ) Anyway, more pictures be here. All I wanted to do was make a nice, happy, relaxing scene. I hope I pulled it off. And thank you for looking at my insanity. Quote
samthelegoman1 Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Lookin good. Although, I would suggest some white bricks on the roof to show snow fall. Quote

Ah, you see, at work, we had cotton wool which I used to made it more snow like. Obviously didn't want that in the pic you see, but thank you! Quote
Zepher Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Looking good. Very seasonal! I'm so happy when I see Holiday MOC's! Quote
djo Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 nice use of white baseplate. maybe you can add some green and red accents to the house for the christmas effect. just my two cents. Quote
Widdi Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 nice holiday scene. But it would've been better to use some white bricks or plates on the baseplate for a snow cover, instead of using a white baseplate. Like I did with my sigfig house a while back. I think that's more realistic. mFg Widdi Quote
