Nirdian Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 The L.01 Droid Destroyer was made to counter the Growing amount of Sonic Phantoms in the 5th world War (Also known as the 1st Human-Mechanical War). The first one was made from parts of Takeshis wrecked battle machine and piloted by an Australian, who found the wrecked battle machine, called Stan. The L.01 has several advantages over most of the Robot's flying machinerie. For one, it can enter vacuum places (space) and is heavily armored and armed. One of these can take out a whole squadron of SPs. I really wanted to get rid of my EXO-FORCE stuff (since they kinda suck, but have cool parts). So I sat down, wrecked the Grand Titan (which had been collecting dust on top of my shelf), pulled out the crate of red parts and got to work. I'm really happy with the result! ->Brickshelf<- ->Flickr<- I hope you like it! A good friend of mine recently shooped the L.01 into space! (Link to the Flickr) Quote
Pencoin Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Sleek ship, does it have a cockpit? Also why don't you like EXO-Force? Sure 2007 and 2008 were bad but 06 was great. Quote
djo Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 nice design. i like the way you make the engine. great color scheme. nice building technique. the cockpit looks like is very narrow for the minifig to sit and pilot. Quote

Thanks! The cockpit is actually very spacious and comfy... As seen on the Brickshelf. Quote
Dr. X Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Niceness. At first I thought it was microscale, but the fact that it can fit a minifig makes it uber-much better! Swarm fighters FTW!! Quote
zero1312 Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Nice!!! And good idea to put some story behind it. Quote
Guss Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I also got this set 2 weeks ago and I was wondering how to use the parts in it, as there is a lot of interesting parts, you did it well! love the shape and the way the cockpit open^^ great job! Quote
brickzone Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Nice to see this. I like the sleek look of the ship. Space MoCs are my plan for my exoforce parts, although I think I'd like to have some exo-force-like space vehicles to make use of the oodles of knuckle joint parts I have. Quote
Snake...SNAKE...SNAAAAKE?! Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I thought is was pretty good, but when I saw that cockpit, I was stunned! Good job!! Quote
GloriusShadow Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Nice cockpit! Well, the 2006 line wasnt that bad? At least I liked it... Quote
Asuka Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 An interesting design... very intense in shape and appearance, a clever work indeed! Quote
