Wow. The pineapple is $40? It was $40 before with the other two houses... I was going to get it when I thought it was $30...

The original set were better. The Krusty Krab doesn't look like it does in the show at all.

Well you really can't expect LEGO to do a good job on a lego spongebob building. They're all a wall or 2 walls. We probably won't have Spongebob in 2010, even though I kinda like this theme.

I'll pass on these. Besides the Krusty Krab Kar, (and maybe the different faces...) there really isn't anything I'd be interested in adding to my collection.

Thanks for the heads-up though.

I really hope they make an underwater tree dome for Sandy. I estimate the cost to probably be about 70 or 80 bucks. :sceptic:

I don´t think that ever will happen. :sceptic:

Just think of the giant trans ´bubble´mold TLC has to make... They won´t ever do that.

A set featuring Sandy's tree dome would be possible with these large-sized pieces, which were first introduced in the LEGO Space themes, but in trans light blue, or clear.

These pieces may look a bit clunky, but I'm sure they'll do the trick. The corner dome panel was last seen in set #6199 Hydronauts Hydro Crystalation Station, released in 1998, and the side dome panel was last seen in #6958 Exploriens Android Base, released in 1996.

Sandy's tree dome as it appeared on the show.

I'm sure they could pull it off with the pieces I've mentioned, but on a smaller, more affordable scale (presumably $50-70.00 USD), and an open ended design.

Never say never. :classic:

Stopped by TRU last Friday--they had Spongebob as well as the new miner sets.

And speaking of TRU--prices went up on the pirates. Soldier's fort was 54.99 USD and the ship was 104.99 USD. The worst price was the impulse soldier--6.99 USD! That's twice was Lego charges!

On a related note, I did find the new Indiana Jones plane set at a Target for 50 bucks--so I bought myself a Christmas present :skull:

Come January, when I've gotten my first digital camera for Christmas, I'll take pictures of the pineapple house set for my first set review. I'll probably show everyone the difference between the old pineapple house from 3827 and the new one side by side, because I know there are many differences between the two.

Jeez! :oh3: And I thought $3.49 was expensive to begin with!
