LuxorV Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 It's incredible: every single time I build the Super Nova, I want to modify it, to correct the major faults in its design (such as the horrible cockpit!). And everytime I come out with a new design, always related to the original, but also always different. Here is the latest version, the Neo Nova (I must recognize that the 'Ultimate Nova' name I give to the other one was a bit excessive...). Pic links to the gallery (when moderated). Comments and critics are welcome. LuxorV Quote

LuxorV Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 Thanks NewRight And sorry for the late answer... I seem to have lost memory of this topic for a few days LuxorV Quote
Batbrick Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Very nice remod LuxorV! I love the enhanced cockpit and revamped red/yellow colour scheme the most. I hope you achieve perfection eventually! Batbrick Away! Quote
LuxorV Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 Thanks, my friend I hope you achieve perfection eventually! That's a difficult goal to acheive... And, let's say this, it would be way boring after you acheive it, without new challenges at hand LuxorV Quote
djo Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 nice Neo Nova. i like this mecha has fingers, really cool. nice idea too for the yellow wings on back and red horns(are they're horns?) on top. color is ok for me. Quote

Thanks To tell the truth, the fingers were already included in the original Super Nova design, as well as the yellow wings (should be some kind of solar collectors...); since I like mecha's with fingrs, I kept them . The 'horns' are intended to be mini laser cannons (like the ones of the firefly in the Storm Lasher). Finally, I'm glad you like the colors. I wasn't totally sure about the red centre; seemed a bit too massive, but then I got used to it, and I like it very much LuxorV Quote
