I have to tell you that the parts in the USB are not polybagged per ship (like in the recent city themes).

Maybe I'm just mentally ill, but this makes me happy. It's more fun when you have to root through parts for a while, and totally zen out on the building process.

A while back I bought a used UCS Blockade Runner over eBay, and the seller sent it to me fully assembled. As a favor, I asked some of my co-workers to smash the thing apart for me (before I saw it, of course) so that I could put it back together myself. They had a good time smashing, and I had a good time re-assembling.... so everybody won! :-D

Well, then again, one can never have enough Vulture Droids and JSF's...Maybe I can...tweak Anakin's a little...too bad there aren't any purple pieces like the yellow ones, or green ones...or blue. *cries*

Heck, even white, if I remade the Jedi Starfighter like Obi Wan's and Anakin's 2 JSF, that they used in the movie....If TLC had done that form this set, I would have been happier, and it would have been cooler.

Whats the point of reviving this topic for that ?

Anyhow I will reply on that notion of Lego Shop. Paris has no Lego shop per se. The situation is this: Near Opera there is a huge toy Shop (village Jou

*sigh* When I saw this topic had been posted in, I thought it was pictures of 2007's JSF. *sing*

I edited the title to add "USB" since someone revived this review :-D The old title was confusing ;-)

Just a hint: if it was the new set I would have emphasized it a lot more :-|

Well I'm glad it's been revived (if I'm allowed to say that) as I've just got my first close up view of the elusive Obi-Wan starfighter that my son has been going on (and on and on) about since he saw it on ebay.

I was horrified to learn it's so hard to find - and even more horrified to see the only UK ebay seller with them available was asking

Of Course Holly ;-) Why wouldn't you be allowed to say that ?

And I'm glad that my old review still interests some SW fans out there :-D

Does anyone know what it's UK price originally was?

If I recall correctly, I paid 50

Now I can see I'm going to have to go and hunt for some more of your "old" reviews, Yoda ;-)

Feel free hehe :-P

Check the members mOC thread where I listed all of them (nearly since I still need to update that though).

You can find it here ;-)

Okie I will stop to do my advertising :-D :-P

i have only myself to blame. when i started collecting lego in march, i saw 7283 still available from TRU but at the time $50 seems a little too much to pay for a toy (i bought the $15 7700 stealth hunter then). and the week after, it was gone. :-/ 2005 seems like a bad year...everything sw sold too quickly. i only have a few epi 3 sw and i missed out on 4504 and 7264. grrrr. definitely going to make sure that doesnt happen with 2006 sets. :-P only sailbarge and darth vader's tie to go. :-P

It was the same problem at the time with the Imperial Inspection set ;-)

I wonder if the new Xwing (6212) will suffer the same fate !! I would definitly think so ;-)

cool, this looks awesome, but not as pure as the new blue one, and not as cool as the yellow one. i rebuilt the yellow one (salvaged parts from the bin and copied instruction scans on the internet for hours) for the sake of getting the blue one, because i dont have this one. :-( looks very neat though, and this, anakins JSF, vulture droids, buzz droids, and a mini arc 170 for only 50 euros? what a deal!! X-D

nice review *yoda* , i like how you review the little things in sets, it really shows appreciation and dedication to that part of the set ;-)
