Pfft. You guys are doing it all wrong. You should've opened them all last month on the first day you had them. If you cut the tape on the side of the box, a whole tray slides out and it's minifig mania! Try it, you'll like it-the polka's here to stay! And then you don't have to ruin the nice picture on the outside by opening all those doors and you can make a poster and paste it on your wall.

Paste it? *huh*

I have been absolutely stoked for the City Advent Calendar! In fact I was actually looking forward to a Monday, and what a Monday! Turkey man is a brilliant way to kick off the holiday season. I might even go as far to say that he's this year's breakout character. Seriously, who could care less about blasters, lime green drill tanks, espionage, Sith lords, and my personal favorites: Clones, when you've got a guy with a drumstick. Turkey man, we salute your clever use of leftovers as weaponry and brown Levis! I rate today a 10/10 (and I'm serious, too).

I´m taping it up again and using it as a instructions page.

Yeah LEGO advent calendars always have loads of extra parts like 1x1 round bricks, fire pieces etc.

I really like that! :sweet:

We started yesterday... I have my city calendar and my girfriend has her castle calendar, so we're both set right up to christmas! :) I was also hesitant in destroying the fantastic "poster" in the city calandar... thankfully lego.com have put that picture up as a .pdf so it's now on my desktop in pristine condition :)

Well, my girlfriend and I like to do them together, but we won't see each other in the ten days leading up to Christmas, nor on Christmas itself, so we decided to start ten days early. That fact aside, we have been going through doing both the City and Castle calendars one door at a time, each alternating which they get to put together on any given day. Today is Castle for me, and City for her.
