ZeeK Posted October 25, 2011 Author Posted October 25, 2011 Yes, although unfortunately the photos no longer seem to be there. These pics are not using "public" photoservices, so there's no reason for them to disappear. PM me if you still have troubles - can provide you direct links, email the pics etc.I see the pictures... So do I.And here's my two cents on the "elephant question": i think that dark gray elephant should be less expensive than the light gray one, since the set 7414 in much cheaper than the 7418 Scorpion Palace... Btw, here's the link to the review of set #7418 at local Russian forum (i think the pics are of better quality, that EB's reviews) Quote
Bricknave Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Excellent review! I really like the elephant demonstration at the end, it is a clever way to show the readers how maneuverable the elephant is. I have this set as well. When I first obtained it, my favorite part was the car, with the stylish flag and trunk full of dynamite. I like that you placed the steering wheel on the right side, because it seems more realistic than the steering wheel being on the left side, assuming the car is a British expedition vehicle. Quote
Sid Sidious Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 The very tip of the elephant's trunk is the same piece as the arm in the lamp post of Winter Village Post office. I was wondering where that piece came from, and now my question is answered. Good review, I like the detailed analysis of the elephant. Quote
Amset-Rah Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 I remember this set. I bought it on sale for $10. For that price, not bad at all, but I mainly got it for the elephant. The car's neat but nothing we haven't seen in the Adventurers theme before. At $20, I couldn't see myself buying it, but like I said, 10 smackers is the perfect price. Quote
